Mrs. Dora Tai Tang, known to many as Auntie Dora, was an accomplished doctorate student in Medical Technology and Immunology, awarded with full scholarships throughout her academic life in America at the State University of New York at Albany and the Albany Medical School, where she also received a Fellowship. Before founding the DOORS Method in 1986, she had worked in an immunology laboratory in Canada, in medical research at the New York State Health Department and Queen Mary Hospital in Hong Kong, in sales and marketing with Johnson & Johnson, and as the Scientific Officer running the prominent Prenatal Diagnostic Laboratory in association with The University of Hong Kong Obstetrics & Gynecology Unit for the Hong Kong Medical and Health Department.
